Bashley Football Club Build for the Future

At the AGM of Bashley Football Club held on Tuesday 29 May, of Bashley Football Club Members enthusiastically welcomed exciting changes to the club’s football structure and unanimously endorsed a new executive and general committee charged with overseeing these changes.

The success of the Under 19s, an affiliation with Brockenhurst College Football Academy, in the development of local talent and as a feeder for the first team, has been expanded this season by the introduction of two more youth teams.  The seasons competitions being:

Bashley FC: Wessex Premier Division

Bashley U19s: The National League U19 Alliance

Bashley U18s: Hampshire County Youth League

Bashley U15 Ladies: New Forest Girls Youth League

Following the retirement from official duties of Chairman Laurence Flanagan and Vice-Chair Stephen Burrows, experienced personnel in club management (Scot Macfarlane), marketing (Elisabeth Marrion) and youth development (Mick Cooper and Lee Norville) were recruited from outside of the club to strengthen the remaining Executive Committee Members, Martyn Levitt (Treasurer) and Mike Cranidge (President and Club Secretary). Senior Physio and Fitness Coach, Paul Diggins becomes Head Welfare Officer and Child Protection Officer.

Bashley Football Club founded in 1947, is an FA Charter Status, community membership football club.
